Privacy notice

Who we are
Scorz is run by Nasser Abdelmawla. It films the padel courts at Padel Ace (test) so that players can save their best points. For any question or request about your data, write to privacy@scorz.me.
What the camera films
A camera films each court that uses Scorz, all the time while the system is on, including everyone on the court. A notice at the court says so.
What happens to the recording
- The recording stays on a small computer at the court (the court box) and is deleted after about 15 minutes, unless someone saves a point.
- Only saved points leave the court box: a short clip, under a minute, of the moments just before someone tapped Save.
- If the club's internet is down, the court box keeps the recording on its own disk until the internet is back and every saved point has been sent, then deletes it.
Who sees a saved clip
Only the players checked in to that match on that court (checking in needs the code on the court's tablet) and the court's tablet. Clips are not public. You always keep the clips you were in, on your profile.
The club sees how much Scorz is used, including the names of the players who saved the most points in a month, and totals such as how many new players came because of the cameras (never who answered what). We never sell your data.
What we keep about you
- The name you type, and your level if you set it. Other players in your match see your name.
- A random login code kept in your browser as a cookie (we keep only a scrambled copy of it). No password.
- Which court sessions you checked in to and when, the points you saved, which of your clips you played (once a day each), and when you shared or downloaded a clip.
- The days you used the app (one note a day, nothing about what you looked at).
- If you answer it: whether it was your first time playing at the club and, if so, what made you choose it. It is optional, asked once per club, and you can skip it. It is deleted with your profile.
- Your internet address, for a short time, to stop abuse (for example, too many wrong check-in codes), and in our server's logs.
- When you agreed to this notice and the terms.
The app loads nothing from other websites: no ads, no trackers.
Email (coming soon)
When email login arrives, you can add your email to keep your clips on any phone. We will use it only to send you login codes, through our email provider (Resend).
Where it is stored
Saved clips are stored with our cloud storage provider (Cloudflare R2), and everything else on our server. Links to a clip work only for about an hour and are given only to the people who may see it.
How long we keep it
Saved clips and your profile are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until we set a time limit for old clips, which this notice will then describe.
Your choices
Write to privacy@scorz.me to see what we keep about you, correct it, or have your profile and clips deleted. Tell us your name and the court and day you played, so we can find you.
